Woman killed Sunday in Roosevelt Boulevard crash

A woman was killed and another person was severely injured after a crash early Sunday morning on Roosevelt Boulevard.

A woman is dead and another is in critical condition after a car crashed into a pole early Sunday morning on Roosevelt Boulevard near Bustleton Avenue.

The accident happened just after 2 a.m, according to police. A 35-year-old woman, a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene, and the driver, a 29-year-old woman, was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital with rib and spinal injuries, authorities said.

Police are actively investigating the crash. ••
